Fr. Bill Sheehan, OMI
When you pray, go to your private room and, when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in that secret place.” –Matthew 6:6
Experienced, new, or frustrated with Centering Prayer? Let’s get back to the basics of Centering Prayer. Father Bill will share how we enter our inner room and what begins to happen. The Friday evening and Saturday day sessions each stand alone and include one or more Centering Prayer sessions.
Rev. Bill Sheehan, OMI, is an experienced retreat director who has led many Centering Prayer workshops and retreats, including 11th Step retreats. Since 1983, he has been involved with Contemplative Outread, founded by Fr. Thomas Keating, OCSO, practicing centering prayer and guiding others in this way of prayer for more than 25 years. He is a member of the Oblates of Mary Immaculate order and lives in an Oblate House of Prayer in Lowell, Massachusetts.
