About the event:
Join us at the Mission Viejo Campus for a time of refreshment. Our speaker will be Bob Olson a retired Saddleback College professor and 40 year practitioner of various forms of meditation. He will share the psychological perspective of Centering Prayer including the challenges and rewards of practice. He will also discuss practice supports, silence versus stillness and gratefulness.
Silent Saturday offers us a pause in our everyday lives. A time to reflect and center ourselves by reconnecting with our maker. The Psalmist say “The Lord is good and his mercies endure forever.” We need only to tap into His goodness by creating space within ourselves. The Mission Viejo campus will create sacred spaces for you to experience. A prayer journal, breakfast and lunch are included. Prayerfully consider joining us.
“Be still and know that I am God” Ps 46.10
